"Like" is a Strong Word

Yipes! I need to update this more often.... This is my attempt to get the wheels turning (again). Below are photos I took of different textures and patterns that I found interesting whilst on a recent road trip out to South Dakota with friends to go rock climbing and then off to Portland, Oregon for a wedding and then back home again. It was a lot of driving. "A lot of driving" is an understatement, but saying, "It was awesome and totally worth it," is also a gross understatement. Enjoy.

it went really swell:

today i realized my favorite month is almost over.

i stopped out by a bridge over the river and my instincts told me i was being watched when i got out to take photos. i scanned the woods,

under the bridge, and then something crouching on a branch caught my eye.

i coaxed it down & made a new friend:
